Tja, like it safe already notice have, we be the mouse^® from Koerprich in Saarland. Some people call our sport Rope Skipping, other one than Ropeskipping, seilspringen or (gaanz badly) Seilchenspringen and/or Seilchenhuepfen. For us however Rope Skipping is more... many more! One cannot describe it, one must it experience!

Began for us all 1990, with the German turn celebration in Dortmund/Bochum, with which Wolfgang Westrich from Kaiserslautern with American Rope Skippern the astonished public showed, what one with ropes everything make in such a way can.

Our coach Eric Rupp has at that time immediately fires and wanted it also to learn, unfortunately had he by 30 October 1992 to wait, until he had the possibility, as well as our doctor into spe, Stefan Meyer, to participate in a Rope Skipping Workshop. Off then everything went completely fast.

We asked in the association (TV Koerprich) and in our sporty friend circle, who wanted to along-jump with us, and fast were we 20 to 30 people, which resounded together in hopped. Which us all in such a way inspired, was the fact that one can learn Rope Skipping so madly fast.

In March 1993 we held our first own Rope Skipping Workshop in already stone-intoxication-resound in Saarlouis, with overwhelming resonance: 63 participants. One month later then our first week final training course was due, with Westfaeli Turnerbund in Oberwerries.

And in May 1993 it was then finally so far, our first appearance! At the national turn day of the Saarland Turnerbundes in Saarbruecken. At that time the comments of the spectators were still very ironically, particularly concerning the name of our kind of sport. Thus a speaker meant that Egg Jogging would probably arise shortly, which in former times times egg running was called. But meanwhile also this changed and one does not speak no more with a pitiful smile on the lips of us! Because this first appearance was the beginning of a really long series at appearances, whose end is not to be foreseen yet.

At present jump with us approx.. 40 to 50 jumping mice^® at the age of 5 to 28 years, still with enthusiasm, also after so many years, whereby our Showgruppe out approx.. 20 to 25 Springer inside exists.

For some years we are besides not only in Germany on the way, but were already in Austria, France, Belgium, Israel, the USA, Canada, Australia, where we were not only invited to Shows, but also advanced training held, are it for children and young people, training supervisor, coach, teacher or simply only enthusiastic about sport one.

Since our Show arrives always very good actually, we were also to guest with the television broadcasts "money or love", "Guinness Show of the records", "YOYO Kids", "super, Metty", "the hour of the truth", "Second Channel of German Television television garden", as well as several regional transmitters.

Our recent large success was in January 2000 in the Guinness Show of the records, in which we set up a world record in jumping in the double Dutch. The conditions were:

• at the most 12 meters long rope

• Time limit 90 seconds

• maximally 2 Springer may clean-jump at the same time

• Springer, which jumped at least 2-mal over the rope, count

• as many as desired attempts within the time limit

In the transmission we set up a new world record , with 36 Springer within 41 seconds, with which we stand also in the Guinness book of the records 2001 (page 206).

But since 07 December there is a new world record, because we improved our own with the DTB Gala Gymmotion in Saarbruecken on 40 Springer within 33 seconds! With this record we stand also in the Guinness book of the records 2002 (page 272)!
